PERFORMANCE DISCS, STANDARD SIZES

If your looking for an improved braking but don't wish to upgrade to a caliper or brake kit then we offer a range of standard size, replacement performance brake discs. Available in both solid or floating configuration, each of our brake discs are produced to the same high specification as found in our big brake kits. Supplied vented and "barb" grooved we also offer the option of cross drilling if required*

Each disc features our "foundation" slots which are offset to encourage airflow through the mid section of the brake disc, cooling from the inside out. In addition our barb grooved design is machined into the inner and outer face of the disc to cut a continuous fresh face into the surface of the mating brake pads, helping to prevent glazing.

FLOATING DISC

THE FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT

Utilising many of the same features as our solid discs the floating variant is further enhanced by using a two piece design (commonly known as disc and bell or rotor & hat). The advantage of a two piece disc is the freedom of movement the rotor section is given.

Under extreme use and temperature changes the rotor changes shape, growing under heat and shrinking as it cools. A floating arrangement means that the rotor is more flexible and so can return to its original form faster and more efficiently when compared to a one piece solid disc.

Floating discs are recommended for track and competition users but are also suitable for use on the road.
