NASHIN Performance Brake Rotors for Tesla Model S and Model X

NASHIN makes a front Tesla brake rotor set for the Model S (5YJS) 60 (2013–), 60D AWD (2014–) and 100D AWD (2017–), and the Model X (5YJX) Plaid AWD (2021–). The 355 × 32 mm discs have a 70.7 mm total height and are cross-referenced to Tesla part numbers 1025099, 1025099-00-B, 6006420, 6006420-00-A and 6006420-0A. Electric vehicles are heavy and rely partly on regenerative braking, so the friction brakes must still deliver full performance in an emergency. NASHIN rotors use an FC250 cast-iron rotor face and a ventilated core with exposed ports and a patented internal transverse structure. Made in Taiwan.

Why do Tesla rotors wear or corrode differently?

Regenerative braking does much of the everyday slowing, so friction brakes may be used less. That can leave rust or uneven deposits on the rotor face. Occasional firm stops in a safe place help keep the surface clean.

Do I need to bed in rotors on an EV?

Yes. Bedding-in builds an even pad transfer layer. Follow the procedure in our FAQ, using the friction brakes firmly so regeneration does not do all the slowing.
